hi, i’m hannah
From the very first note, Hannah brings a presence that draws people in and holds them there. With a Bachelor of Music majoring in Contemporary Voice, she spent her early 20s in Melbourne’s live music scene, performing at renowned venues including Cherry Bar, The Toff, Howler and The Espy. During this time, she co-fronted female-led pop group KODAH, known for its tight harmonies and high-energy vocal delivery, as well as leading and supporting a range of projects across jazz, R&B, reggae, funk and soul. Her work also extended into the studio, contributing to single releases, demos and advertising, with recording experience at the renowned Sing Sing Studios.
Hannah spent her teen years teaching herself guitar and piano while developing her craft through music theatre and extensive live performance work. Now based back home in the Goulburn Valley, she works as a high school voice and music teacher, where she continues to share her passion for performance and artistry whilst advocating for the importance of public music education.
At her core, Hannah is drawn to songs that carry emotional weight—especially stories of love and heartbreak—delivered with honesty, control and connection. She performs with natural emotional depth, allowing each song to feel lived-in and real, creating moments that resonate long after the final note. Musically, she moves effortlessly across styles from musical theatre and jazz through to soul, R&B, pop, country and rock, always serving the story of the song with authenticity and finesse. She thrives on the energy in the room and the shared emotion of the moment, using live music to bring people together in a way that feels effortless, meaningful and unforgettable.
